Who we are
Dayyoo is a language-learning product owned and operated by Flyosim LLC. This policy explains how we handle information when you visit dayyoo.com or use the Dayyoo app.
Information Dayyoo may use
The exact information depends on the features you choose to use.
- Learning preferences and progress, such as your selected language, level, saved words, practice activity, reminder schedule, and streak.
- Account information, such as your email address and sign-in provider, if you choose to create an account when account features become available.
- Basic device and diagnostic information used to keep Dayyoo reliable, understand crashes, and improve performance.
- Messages you send to support, including the contact information and details you choose to provide.
How we use information
- Provide word cards, practice, progress, widgets, reminders, and other requested learning features.
- Remember your settings and, when enabled, synchronize progress across your devices.
- Maintain security, diagnose errors, prevent abuse, and improve Dayyoo.
- Respond to support requests and communicate important service or policy updates.
Local and offline learning
The lightweight Dayyoo preview stores its curated vocabulary, preferences, and learning state locally on your device. Removing the app or clearing its data may remove local progress that has not been synchronized.
The app does not need to upload the text of the word you are learning in order to show the local starter experience.
Audio, notifications, and widgets
Dayyoo may use on-device speech features to pronounce words and examples. Reminder notifications are scheduled only after you grant permission and can be changed or disabled in Dayyoo or iOS Settings. Widgets display selected learning content on your device.
Subscriptions and payments
When subscriptions become available, purchases will be processed by Apple through the App Store. Flyosim LLC does not receive your full payment-card number. Apple’s privacy policy and account settings govern App Store billing and cancellation.
Service providers and disclosure
We may use carefully selected providers for hosting, authentication, diagnostics, analytics, customer support, and payment entitlement verification. They may process only the information needed to provide their service to us. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or Dayyoo, or as part of a business transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.
Dayyoo does not sell your personal information for money.
Retention, security, and your choices
We keep information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, legal obligations, dispute resolution, and security. We use reasonable safeguards, but no storage or transmission system can be guaranteed completely secure.
You may change learning and notification settings at any time. When account features are enabled, you may request access, correction, or deletion through the app or by contacting us. Applicable local law may provide additional privacy rights.
Children
Dayyoo is not directed to children under 13, or the minimum age required by local law to consent to data processing. If you believe a child provided personal information without appropriate permission, please contact us so we can review and delete it where required.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as Dayyoo evolves. We will post the revised policy here and update its effective date. For privacy questions or requests, email privacy@dayyoo.com.
